China is laying its dick out daring WALMART to chop it off! --hahhahaa
From Forbes:
Lawmakers in China are planning to take action against US retailing giant Wal-Mart and other foreign firms to force them to allow their staff to join a union, state press said.
Legislators are planning to change the law to force foreign-funded enterprises to establish branches of the Communist Party-run All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) within their companies, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
‘We started to push Wal-Mart to set up union branches two years ago, yet there is not a single one built (set up) so far,’ Xinhua quoted Wang as saying.
‘We will continue working on this.’
The dispute has been a long-running one and Wal-Mart said in 2004 that it would allow its staff to join unions while insisting then it had not broken any laws.
According to China’s trade union law, all employees have the right to join ACFTU, the country’s only legal trade union.
However joining the union offers no guarantee for staff against exploitation, with the ACFTU often criticized by international labor rights groups for favoring business interests over workers’ rights.

The Extreme Diet Coke & Mentos Experiments
The first part of this video demonstrates a simple geyser, and the second part shows just how extreme it can get. Over one hundred jets of soda fly into the air in less than three minutes.
It's a hysterical and spectacular mint-powered version of the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas, brought to you by the mad scientists at EepyBird.com.

Blockbuster is a bust!
I've grown to really dislike blockbuster. They never have the movies in I want and it seems they can never figure out what kind of program to stick with. With the no late fees program now you really cant get the movie you want. Video games is a whole other ballgame. No late fees just gives people justification for being the bastards they are to start with. If you cant be responsible and return a movie on time then maybe you shouldn't rent them. The whole idea of having a due time is so other people can enjoy the film as well in a timely fashion. Enter netflix! I joined this program a week ago and now im kicking myself wondering why I didn't do it a long time ago. The site itself just kicks ass. All movies are networked like imdb. There is even a little movie info option you can enable in your settings to where you can place your cursor over a movie and a bubble pops up showing you a brief description and cast so you don't have to blindly click every movie you want to look at. There are 35 netflix warehouses across the USA so that you can get them very quickly. I really lucked out bc the one closest to me is in panama city. So when the movie is shipped off, it gets to me the very next day. For 14.99 a month I can keep 2 movies out at a time with unlimited rentals every month. I've rented 4 movies already in one week and made more than my moneys worth back. The selection is enormous and I have yet to run into a film I could not find or wasn't available immediately. If your wondering who pays for the shipping, netflix does - both ways. Its a program you just cant beat. This has to be killing the mega giant blockbuster. I don't plan on ever going back to one. Who wants to deal with all the hassle. I live in the "I want it now" age...everything must be instant gratification or its crap. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Stop watching crappy programming and tune into 'Weeds'.
this is smart, dark, and hilarious writing at its best. No I didn't steal that quote from some review. Those are my own words. So far the first season has only 2 episodes out but OMG is it funny as shit. Talk about dysfunctional families - think the movie orange county. There is a twist on this dysfunctional family though. The mother sells weeds to the entire community. So far it has a pretty respectable cast. If the writing continues the way it has I see no reason why this wouldn't put showtime up there next to HBO in the original series battle.
It's been one week since you looked at me. Cocked your head to the side and said "I'm angry"
so its been a week since i started to seriously use my shake mix and in my first week i have to say ive been very pleased. i started out at 200 and yesterday when i left work i was 195 1/2. the first 2 or 3 days it was rough. its all about routine and getting into a new routine is never fun. i would imagine the results would be mad crazy if i jogged like 3 or 4 times a week but i will out that off until i hit a plateau of nonweight loss. i alternate days of 1 or 2 shakes. one day i will replace 2 meals with a shake and the next day i will replace one meal with a shake. the meals i do i eat i try to keep lite and healthy. snacks include yogurts, bananas, soy chips, and a cliff bar here and there (which are made with organic soy beans). healthier food =healthier heart = Nathan can live a longer more pessimistic life! =)
